Rosacea

What to Expect
Whether you’re looking to target stubborn pigment spots or pesky spider veins, our pigment spot treatment may be the treatment for you.
A consultation with our skincare expert will determine whether your skin tone is suitable for pigment spot treatment, as the light may cause hyperpigmentation on certain skin tones. If deemed a candidate, our highly trained clinical aestheticians will create a custom treatment plan for you.
If you’re receiving this treatment for spider veins, the consultation is important as BBL technology only treats smaller spider veins. During your treatment, wavelengths of high-intensity light are used to close the vein. The procedure is described as a quick snap like an elastic band as the pulse is delivered to the vein.
We work to ensure you are as comfortable as possible and that any discomfort is minimal by using medical-grade numbing cream before the treatment. Following the procedure, it is recommended that you apply sunscreen to the treated areas. You’ll see results usually within a week, but multiple treatments may be required.

Determining how many treatments you may need will depend on the severity of discoloration and the results you are looking to achieve. Pigment and redness issues don’t happen overnight and sometimes it takes years to accumulate the discoloration. This means that it will likely require multiple treatments to achieve your best results. Typically, clients join us for 2-4 sessions on average.

You may experience some redness and/or swelling, but this will subside. It is common when receiving this treatment for pigment spots to appear darker before they lighten.
